KBB says over 19k for "good" condition which I feel mine is. That's the trade in value which is about 2k under private party value. Maybe it's just me or maybe the market really is that bad for these cars right now.
Whatever the case is people are getting a lot of car for the money these days. Even better then I did and that is saying something.

Your nuts, I have 2 singled Supras and had minor issues all the way.But then again a problematic car can kill your fun. Supras are too old technology for me these days.

The appeal of a single turbo supra is that magical 1000hp number. Foolish but still tempting
Yes, the car is still for sale juggernaut. You can email me at lukemichaluk@Yahoo.com

That is a really fair price. If I hadn't just bought one I would be all over it. What kind of delivery vehicle are you looking for? Also, what do you want for the headers and mid pipe and other goodies?

Probably gonna end up with a smart car for deliveries. They're cheap, easy to park, stand out, good gas mileage etc.
Pulley is sold and the headers are spoken for. Shipping out tuesday

Key issue has been resolved. Center console was fixed as posted above and going in for a PPI on Saturday. Not much else I can do.
Price still at $19.5k. Please no low ballers. This price is more then fair.

lol good luck with that bronco
You can tell her this is the easiest car in the world to drive despite the demon under the hood. In fact, you might just forget that last part. ha ha

Lol! I'm a hot rodder. Was into mustangs for a long time, but marriage and a kid kind of got rid of most of my hobbies except for my 73' Bronco, which I will never get rid of and she will never let me sell it as she loves it so much.
Driving around a 2 year old in a 2 door Accord sux and I don't have any go fast toys anymore.
I had told her that I wanted to get back into a performance car when it came time but since we don't have the money for me to have another toy plus our DDs, I said I would compromise into buying some sort of sport sedan to be my DD and baby hauler.
Initially I had been looking (and still considering) E36 M3/4/5s. Because of a couple of people she's known that have had bad luck with BMWs, anytime she hears BMW or MB all she can think is that they're either POSs or that they're expensive to maintain or work on. Even though I work on all my own stuff within reason.
The MBs though I'm working on her on. She still just sees $$$ with regards to repairs etc. I keep telling her the positives, the safety, the comfort and for the AMGs the buttometer that will make me happy.
The only thing even remotely close to a performance sedan that I can get her to agree with are the newer chargers. We've rented SXT models to take on trips to Fl twice and were both very impressed with how they drove, the roomy backseat and trunk etc. However, I wouldn't have one unless it was at the very least the baseline hemi and I'd prefer the SRT8, but those are pricey.
She's a fan of the newer Kia and Hyundai sedans which I admit are nice but don't think either would satisfy my spirited driving nature, lol.
I'm just over American and Japanese/Korean cars. I want German.
But, right now, we're dealing with trying to get her car and our house repaired from those April hailstorms and she's wanting a bigger house, so, my car shopping is more or less on hold.
If I could convince her to ride in one she might be a believer, but she's pretty hardheaded, just like me.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Out of curiosity though, have you had any estimates on getting that fender ding pulled out? Doesn't look like it damaged the paint, so, I bet it could be pulled.

Well if you're local just give me a call sometime and we'll go out and maybe one punch of the go pedal will change her mind. I'll PM you my number. I'm in Sevierville btw.
We like to take our cars to Eurohaus in Knoxville. Robert there knows his stuff and can fix anything. Prices aren't to bad either. Your wife does have a point though, ESPECIALLY if you just take the car to the dealer. They'll charge you an arm and a leg. Honestly I don't think they even diagnose stuff anymore. They just replace crap until the problem goes away.
As far as future stuff you are good on a lot of stuff. I've had the fuel filter module replaced, the fuel sending unit replaced (both within about 6 months), the alternator, rotors and pads are good for about another 20k up front and 25-30k in the rear. Tranny fluid & filter, plugs, rear shocks, brake fluid, diff fluid, wipers and a few seals and suspension arms were all replaced at 50k miles.
I did pull the dent out some but I haven't gotten an estimate on it. I have someone coming out next week so I don't know if I'll take the time to do that to be honest. Not enough time in the day.
My main concern would be the ever present airmatic, SC clutch and the CPS. Clutches have to be replaced eventually as is there nature and the airmatic have a reputation of suddenly failing. Good thing arnott has fronts for a good price with a lifetime warranty.
To mitigate the repair cost you could just buy a warranty. I would if I were keeping the car. 3 years/36k miles ran in the $3k neighborhood. Roll it into the payments for piece of mind. The upside is you get a HELL of a lot of car for the money.
I've driven lots of M3's (everything but the E90) an E39 M5 etc and the power and little luxury touches have those cars beat up and down all day long.
I agree on the kia's and hyundai's. They've came a long way but still, they're not a german car and especially an M or AMG car.
Sorry to hear those hailstorms got you. They were brutal. I just saw a scion XB that was beat to **** driving around. Poor car and poor owner.
