Your wholesale is going to be different from mine....
Just check the pricing on NADA.com or KBB.com
That will give you a sense of what the low-ball offer will look like. On my car, that number is around $15,500.
Seems like a shame for such a solid car, but it looks like it's going to a dealer who will mark it back up to $23,000 and put a for sale sign on it.

You are correct on your wholesale. However, the dealer will not buy your car to resell, but it will go directly to the auction. And since this has to be a profitable activity for the dealer he will offer you 14.5 and call it a day... If he is offering you 15.5 that means he is making 1k somewhere else in the deal.
