I'm new here, signed up just to sell the car. However I have been on Evolution forums and Land Rover forums for years. 
this posting is probably only for NY/NJ locals, since any prospective buyer would want to inspect such an old vehicle in person.
I am only the 2nd owner!! This has been a "third car in the family" since 2005, when we bought it from the first owner. Always garaged, and carefully driven. This is one C36 that never saw a racetrack or even a stop-light contest.
Has very high miles (well, as far as American perceptions go, b/c in Europe, its no big deal), but has always been very well maintained.
Never had any aftermarket radios, panels, seats, dash, lights, gadgets, etc. Never had tints on windows, modifications, body kits, aftermarket wheels, or ANY engine upgrades.
Currently, 207,000 highway miles. The car was driven ~20,000 miles a year, for its first 8 years. Solely by a 60y old.
2 years ago, an extended warranty on powertrain and electrical components was purchased, and just about everything imaginable was replaced.
Today, it runs very well, and is still daily driven.
Has many rock chips in the front, couple door dings, and 2 radio speakers arent working.
However, for a 14y old car, the interior is clean and neat, the Leather Seats are in excellent condition, dash board has no damage or dirt, and all electrical components and accessories are working (power seats, radio, AC/heat, and all buttons). The original factory 17" rims are excellent!!!!
Since we had the warranty, and since we always care for our vehicle very well, we did all possible maintenance and repairs. Here is a list (though I probably wont mention everything) of what was done just within 2010-2011:
- Head gasket
- Oil level sensor gasket
- Crankshaft seal
- Valve cover gasket
- Accessory belts
- All ignition coils
- All 4 Brakes, rear rotors, lines/hoses, fluids
- All 4 Struts/shocks
- Engine mounts
- 4 brand new Pirelli Performance all-season tires
- new door-window motors
- new headlight, new fog light
- headlight and foglight relays and fuses
- new A/C compressor, new hoses
- and more
I bought the car for $8000, in late 2005, and put in another $6000 over the years, into repairs, maintenance, and warranty cost.
The warranty is transferable and is good till end of 2014, or ~270,000. It covers engine/transmission, and most electrical components.
All are welcome to inspect it, or drive it (Brooklyn, NY). ASKING $7000
