2006 E55 AMG Black/Black *fully loaded, tons of extras, CLEAN!!*

I purchased this car in March from a fellow forum member (DManRox). This particular E55 is in excellent condition and is much cleaner than most on the market. I looked at over a dozen throughout the country before I purchased this one. Most E55's for sale are pretty rough and have been driven hard, at least in my experience, but this one is above and beyond any I've seen or driven. The ONLY reason I'm selling this car after only two months of ownership is because my new-to-me GT-R will be arriving very shortly and I dont have the room for both vehicles right now unfortunately. The car is still under chrysler maxcare warranty in my name until 2015 or 120k miles. Non-transferable since it was already transferred to me, but you can still have warranty work performed under my name if you know how to handle your local MB dealer and include me in the claim/repair process. The car has no issues whatsoever and is a solid 9/10 in regards to the condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. It would be an easy 10/10 besides the normal wear and tear on a 63k mile vehicle. Whoever buys this E55 will be 100% satisfied. This a a ZERO disappointments car bar none.

Details/Options

- 63,xxx miles (vast majority being long so. cal commutes)
- clean title & perfect carfax
- no accidents and no paintwork
- Black exterior
- Dark Gray anthracite interior
- Black (gray) Birds-eye wood
- Bi-Xenon headlights
- Adaptive Headlights
- Keyless-Go
- Parktronic
- Dynamic Seats
- Electronic Trunk Closer
- Navigation
- 6CD Changer
- Ventilated and Heated Seats
- Sunroof (Std.)
- everything works perfectly, no issues of any kind whatsoever!!!
- So. Cal car: extremely clean, no rust, etc.

Service Info

- Before the warranty was enabled, Mercedes-Benz in Anaheim conducted full CPO check (have documentation performed summer of 2010). The car passed with flying colors.
- BRAND NEW brake job performed at 62k miles on all four corners. Rotors, pads, sensors, fluid, etc. This was close to $2,000
- Service “B” at 59,500 miles
- BOTH batteries replaced
- Seat Compressor replaced
- Center-channel speaker replaced
- Crank-Sensor replaced
- (1) new Key-fob (Current generation)

Modifications/Upgrades

Exterior:
- Euroteck carbon fiber decklid spoiler
- gloss black front grille
- AMG flat-badge
- factory Mercedes-Benz Power folding mirrors
- Ceramic Tint on doors (30%); Carbon on rear (5%)
- HID’s upgraded to 6000K
- LED License plate Modules (Not just lamp replacement, the whole assemblies)

Interior:
- authentic Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG paddle-shift steering wheel (As this is a late 06, the Paddle-shift wheel with embossed AMG logo on air-bag bolted and connected right up.)
- factory AMG illuminated door Sill-plates. Routed/connected to “factory” location in fuse-block.
- LED interior lighting (Not all, mostly the puddle lamps and footwells)

Wheels/tires/suspension:
- Roderick RW2 wheels (19’s around) with PERFECT offsets! No spacers needed.
- Hankook V-12’s (less than 10,000 miles on wheels/tires)
- STAR lowered by James @ ACG San Diego (about 1.25" all the way around)

Performance:
- K&N air Filters
- -10d Fan mod

I also have ALL original stock parts that will be included in the sale (i.e. oem 18” Wheels w/tires, HIDs, steering wheel, front grille, star emblem, etc. etc.)

This E55 is without question one of the cleanest on the market and all of the added extras are just icing on the cake which really sets off the appearance by giving the car a very aggressive and sporty look. No disappointments on this car guaranteed so please buy with confidence. I take immaculate care of my vehicles and many members throughout various online forums can vouch for me and the quality of what I sell. I've sold over a dozen of my personal vehicles online over the last several years with 100% positive feedback.

Price is $31.5k obo with everything included

This is a great price considering the the condition, year, options, and upgrades. Serious inquiries only please. NO TRADES, lowballers, or tirekickers. Cash or certified cashiers check from your bank only. I also have the car listed locally and have already received several inquiries so if you're interested please contact me asap! I will not hold the car for anyone unless you send me a non-refundable $1,000 deposit.

Please PM me if interested and I'll respond with my contact information.

Thanks all!

Alex

Here are a few pics from a couple months ago taken by the previous owner. This was before the black grille and flat badge were installed as they were done under my ownership. I'll post a bunch of brand new shots ASAP. The car is arguably even cleaner than when I purchased it as I do a complete detail every three weeks or so

I've already received several PMs about the car. To those offering $28-29k...sorry but I'm simply not willing to let the car go for that. $29k is a decent offer, but its just a tad bit low for me. $31.5k really is a good price considering what you're getting.

To compromise, I'm willing to sell the car for $30k on the oem 18's but thats about the best I could do at this point. Thanks for the inquiries thus far everyone, all PMs returned.

I would be very interested at $28,000 "as is", which is fair market value for a 2006 E55 with warranty. If you are serious about selling I am a buyer at $28k.

As stated in the above post, I already turned down two offers of $28k and $29k respectively. I dont know where you get "fair market value" of $28k from. KBB wholesale is $30k bone stock and retail is $35.5k

thanks for the interest though.

^^^this is not a fire sale, I just listed the car two days ago and already have several offers that are very close to my asking price. I dont think getting $30k will be much of a stretch for this car. thanks for your opinion though.

Non transferable warranty

I just noticed that your extended warranty would not be transferable to the next owner. Darn!!!

Have you had any experience with filing a warranty repair claim with Chrysler or another insurance company when the car is registered under a different owner's name? What is the likelihood a MB service writer would file a fraudulent claim for a customer for repairs? Also, no offense to you, but will you always be available and willing to co-sign on future repair claims until 2015?

I am still very interested, but the lack of a warranty worries me for obvious reasons.

Thanks

Thanks

I have friends who've done it before and its really not that big of a deal and is not fraudulent at all imo. This warranty was paid for and still has plenty of life left so why should it go to waste? The whole "one time transfer" bs is so they can kill the warranty and get out of honoring it for the full life that someone paid big money for. Essentially I would just need to be involved in the claims process for any warranty work and you're only 120 miles from my location so it's not really a stretch for me to have the work performed there rather than in Reno since the MB dealer here is a joke anyways. And yes, I'm totally willing to help you with warranty claims...even four years from now. However, if you're not totally comfortable with the circumstance I understand but I personally wouldn't worry. Please feel free to PM me and I'll give you my phone number

OP - why don't you cash-in the warranty for the prorated amount and adjust the asking price accordingly? Seems like a more reasonable, not to mention legal, approach, and you may even come out ahead.

that is also possible if the new owner prefers...I was just trying to help whoever bought the car out by preserving the warranty since it has so much life left.

Blazed- After the first transfer the warranty is non-transferable and can not be refunded either. I was looking at a sweet 2004 with he same warranty, which was a huge selling point for me. Just before I wanted to go get it i called Chrysler with the VIN and contract number and found out it could not be transferred. Then the owner called and found he cannot get a refund either.

I had the car pending sale for $30k but the buyer wasn't able to come up with the full amount. I'm open to reasonable offers that are SERIOUS. I've been getting a ton of tire-kickers on this car for some reason. and remember, the warranty is "officially" not transferable but is still valid in my name until May 2015 or 120k miles.

why are you even posting in the thread if you're not interested? The price is OR BEST OFFER, so anyone seriously interested in actually buying the car can throw me a reasonable offer and I just might take it. Low bluebook is $29k so my price totally fair considering the condition and all the extras. I honestly don't know why you'd even waste your time to post in here...
