if you think traffic's car is too spendy look at what an 07 with way less options is selling for - traffic's car is night and day compared to this stocker - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...t_34334wt_1167
OP's wagon is going to need that 'right buyer', someone looking for a "mildly" modded car.
But if you do decide to part out, I'm behind 3etoiles on the rims, and behind FASN8N on the headers/pulley

I hope this car will still be avail by the time I get my finances sorted. This thing looks amazing and seems like it's in mint condition.
I've been wanting an E55 estate for a long time.

Can anyway tell me a list of known issues for the E55 Estate, years '05 and '06? My father used to own an SL55 and says the air shocks are troublesome. Does the E55 Estate also have this issue? Is there a fix?

The SL55 and E55 share a lot of the same parts including the air suspension. If one of the air struts fails, you can get a rebuilt unit from Arnott for @$350 or you could choose to upgrade to coil over suspension.

actually, the SL55 doesn't share any suspension parts with the E55. The SL, CL and S Class(AMG or with ABC option) use the ABC suspension which is a hydraulic system.
The E and CLS, as well as the S-Class without ABC use Airmatic which is an air suspension system.
