I need to part ways with my 420SEL, which my Mom purchased new back in 1988 and I took over a few years ago. I've completely restored the body, it is simply beautiful! All new brakes, all new suspension, all the fuel lines are brand spanking new, engine runs good. There is a tear on the driver's seat from sun exposure I guess.

Mileage: 235,000 KMS (I'm in Montreal, Canada)

It's sporting 17" amg replicas with tires that are in great shape.

May I suggest one last mod to really tie together the clean appearance of the car? Paint the grille plastic insert a high gloss black. It makes the car look MUCH younger and ties the front end together greatly.

Yeah I agree, I've thought about it but figured I would leave it as is so that it looks more original to a potential buyer... thanks for the tip though
