WTT: 2jz powered m5 for modded e55 (or WTB)
This is a long shot I know, but I miss e55 powwaa, and don't need 2 boosted cars. So, throwing this beast on the trading block for a nicely modded e55, or looking to buy one or outright sale on this car.
Here are the specs:
2000 BMW M5. Silverstone exterior with Black full leather interior. 103k miles on the chasis. New motor, transmission, suspension, radiator, water pump, timing belt, a/c compressor, brakes, reinforced subframe, rebuilt diff, new fuel system, custom driveshaft, ... Car is basically mechanically 100%. Tuned on both 93 pump gas and e85 by renowned AEM tuner Justin Nenni. Custom built by E-shift Performance. Everything works except for DSC and the Sport button. Comes with stock M5 wheels

680whp on 93
Built 2jz -GTE
CP Pistons
Eagle Rods
BC 264 Cams
ARP Studs and Mains
Precision 7175 Billet

Fuel System:
Three Walbros on custom 3 pump hanger in tank
1200cc injectors and fuel rail

Custom Driveshaft
Diff was rebuilt with new seals and bushings
Engine Management:
AEM V2
Tuned by Justin Nenni. Pump gas tune and e85 tune
Greedy Boost controller Pro-Fec B
Custom mirror with AFR and Boost Gauges installed
Suspension:
KW V2 Coil Overs
Reinforced subframe
New rear upper and lower control arms
Interior:
C/F wrapped trim
2001 Sport Seats
Exterior:
Upgraded 2003 Headlights with angel eyes
C/F Front Lip
Vorsteiner Vented Hood
RD Sport Side Skirts
Roof is painted black.
The Good: Very unique and very fast car. Definitely a show stopper when the hood is popped. Mechanically it is basically 100% complete. Everything works as it should. A/C blows cold, heat works, stereo works. Drives like a stock m5 except for lack of torque until boost hits. 2k+ miles so far and not one issue. Really can't say enough about how seamless the conversion has been.
The bad: The clutch is difficult to modulate in first gear. I would consider pulling this $2500 clutch and installing something that allows a little slip at engagement. The rest of the gears are extremely smooth. This car is not a cream-puff. It is a definite 10 footer. The paint needs some love. Rear tires will need to be replaced. Curb rash on the rims. Interior isn't mint. It is an 11 year old car now so some of that is to be expected I guess.

This car was sold a while back. Unfortunately, just recently the motor blew. Maybe an injector stuck in cylinder one, but it caused massive carnage. The new owner is going to build it for 1000whp now.

Marcus, yup. Luckily the new owner is a super cool guy and understands the game, but at the same time it is really disheartening that this car has been through two engines now in less then 3k miles. Something isn't right. I am glad he is going to have another shop do his new build and am excited for the results.
