WTB: W210 E55 Needing Bodywork/Paint
Hey folks, I'm interested in picking up an E55, preferably 2000 to 2002, at a good price to use as the basis of a project car. Since I'm going to be making modifications to it and repainting, I'd prefer to find a good deal on a car that may have been in a minor collision or that already has paint issues rather than destroy a perfectly good factory paint job. I'm open to the car needing some other TLC and repairs. Two-tone interior strongly preferred, but will consider any E55 for the right price.
I've seen private party sellers with '99 E55's selling as low as $6000 and maybe a hair under and there are 2000+ models to be found for $8000+ so looking to be pretty well under those numbers for a car that has some bigger issues. I'm also watching the auctions for a good candidate but there are only a trickle of E55's coming through so want to expand my search.

Even salvage title cost more than $6k this days........ what you pay what you get. As i posted before, there is a 2000 Silver for $8K Salvage title. I found it before accident pix and the cost was $4K before repair. The total cost for that salvage with repair should be around $6K but he changed the plugs, CP sensor, upgrade, rims, add navigation so $8k is reasonable. This car is not as cheap as you think .... $6k u can buy Honda Accord 2002
