My brother has been eyeing up an Sl55 or 600.
Just from my own experiences:
Were the brakes ever done, if so what exactly?
How is the tire life? (when were they last replaced)?
have you used the USAA warranty before, and if so, what did you have replaced, and how many times have you used it?
How long have you owned it / what # owner are you?
I am sure some of these questions will help anyone else out too. I will pass along to my brother and your email so you can talk.

EXCELLENT CONDITION Brilliant Silver /Berry Interior V12 500HP 590 FT LBS Torque Fully Loaded AMG SPORT PACKAGE with Steering Wheel Paddle Shifter, Keyless Go, Distronic, Parktronics, Panorama Roof, Tire Pressure Monitoring System. AUTO CHECK CERTIFIED No Accidents or Paint Work. All Service update via Mercedes Benz dealership just had "B" Service PLUS new SPARK PLUGS a maintance must regardless of the mileage plus New Engine & Transmission Mounts. 4 new Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires at 31,400 miles. Replaced front & rear brake pads & rotors at 24,000 miles.I have all books. SHE NEEDS NOTHING!!
