Purchased from Mercedes Benz of Manhattan as a certified pre-owned car. Factory CPO warranty good until 9/29/2012.
Extended CPO warranty was purchased and is good until 9/30/2014. It is transferrable but will be an additional $3500.
Carfax on the car lists an accident. Inquiry into accident was a parking lot rub without any damage and the police were notified and reported the incident. I have a copy of the police report and carfax did modify the carfax report to state minimum damage (i.e., ding or scratch)
No framework damage as this car was able to successfully complete the CPO process after the incident.
I still have a lien on the car, and would need a nonrefundable deposit of $2000 to pay the lien off so that transfer transaction will be smooth.
