Gorgeous Rare Build 2003 S500 4matic Sport Black/Black quick sale
If youre seriously in the market, take the time to read this. We are a Mercedes family and maintain our cars meticulously!
Selling my fathers S500, he is purchasing a 550i MSprt.
It is Black on Black Perforated Nappa, Light Chestnut Wood Trim. 144k Highway Miles
He purchased it in 2006 from Holloway Mercedes as a CPO with 26000 mi, Trading in another S. This car was a hell of a find, look at the build. It has everything. AMG Pack, wood/leather wheel/knob, Keyless Go, Active Ventilated Dynamic Massaging Multifunction seats (5k?), Heated Rear seats, all sunshades, parktronic, trunk closer, bluetooth, voice activated nav/COMAND. Maintained primarily by Nik, Master Tech at Mercedes Benz of Somerville. This is a true dealer-maintained 2 owner no accident car. When something seemed off, it went to the dealer. Oil changes and all. He said he is more than happy to speak to anyone about it and put it up on a lift. I have every service record since 26k miles. Cant top that.
Exterior Condition:
Well, look at the pictures. It looks like new from 10ft. If you are closer, you will see a few minor dings/chips, but its not bad, espically for a 140k Highway mile car. Slight rust spot around rear fender has been treated with POR15. Minor curbrash on rims. Paint has been maintained with menzerna polishes an swisvaxx waxes.
Interior condition 9.8/10
No issues here. No rattles, everything works, dynmic seats fine, no buttons missing, ambient lighting all works. Massage still works, as do heaters/vents. Great seats. Leather treated with leathermaster/saino bi annally and meguiars interior detailer on other surfaces.
Mechanical condition: 9.0/10
The car runs/drives/sounds completely fine. It has recent brakes, 2 new Arnott airshocks up front, recent B service (oil/all filters/multi point lube/inspection) done at Mercedes, and 4 new CV joints. AC just charged. Transmission flush done. Valve cover gaskets done. The only issue is the 4matic typical slight grind noise when negotiating super tight turns, easy fix, my Tech said there is no damage being done, the noise is more of a slight annnoyance. I would absolutely go across country in this car tomorrow with no issues. Its in damn good shape I'm nitpicking, only Benz ever worked on it.
The bad: It needs tires. We can work something out. Ill get you 2.
Truly my favorite W220 S500. Still looks great after all these years. Hoping it goes to someone that will appreciate it. Has at least another 100k in it. Close to new, and 90% off. Wow.
Asking a MORE THAN REASONABLE $12,400. NO LOW BALLING.
