Thx buddy, there is one out there in your neck of the woods but the guy is asking a small fortune and cannot come to grips with what the car is worth! Seems to be a lot more Convertibles on the East Coast and Hardtops over there which is kind of weird.

GL w/ your sale and people should eat these up opposed the newer pos Chrysler-Benz. This was the last of the best in my opinion. That engine is so strong and the tranny too.

if memory serve me correctly, there were only 700 vert and 2600 coupe existed and in fact, most vert happened to purchased in CA. ur correct these are the last TRUE BENZ. the car feel so solid!

Yeah the East Coast must have been eating up those Cabs, especially down in Florida! I would not own an MB past 2002, its a shame but competition is a b***h. You cannot compare the 2003+ CLK55's to yours. This is why the market is ridiculously flooded with the W209's. You can get a W209 55 for cheaper than a W208 w/ very low miles too.

This thread is a few months old, but I am kicking around getting an 08 CLS550 and would rather sell my 01 CLK55 outright. It is in excellent condition with 95k miles with silver exterior and black leather.
