This is one of the best maintained and lowest priced new body style SL55 on the market. This vehicle is in excellent condition as it has been a daily driver and has been regularly serviced and maintained. It is in outstanding condition with exceptional original paint and no damage, dings, or scrapes. There are a few small rock paint chips on the hood which are minor from highway driving. The car has been regularly washed, polished, and garaged. I purchased the car in 2005 with 18K from Mercedes Benz in Bethesda MD with a 100K mile Mercedes Certified warranty. I search for 6 months to find this AMG car in the Diamond Silver / AMG Charcoal / Silver Aluminum Trim color combination with all the options including the smart card keyless entry, push button start, and panoramic glass roof. The original owner had installed both a Bell Laserpro and a Valentine One built in radar system.
The car gets compliments wherever it goes. This is one fun powerful car that has never been raced or abused. It is also an extremely reliable car and is fully serviced. There are no mechanical issues or dash light errors. I have recently replaced the ABC system, the Electronic Ignition system, and the Xenon headlights. The Continental Extreme Contact tires and all four brakes were replaced in the last 12 months as well. According to my MB mechanic, there are no known issues with this car.
