FS: 02 W210 E55 Silver with 2 Tone. Only 48k Miles
Selling my ultra low mileage 2002 e55.
All books, service history, keys and a cartload of MB extras.
No spring perch issues. In fact springs upgraded to H&R and shocks/struts are Bilsteins.
If you have followed this car over the summer, you may know that I had consigned it to the wonderful folks at Classic Car Gallery. As my time now permits a bit more focus, I have decided to sell the car on my own. If you are a real buyer, please feel free to get in touch: My name is Andy. I still drive the car on nice days, although I don't anticipate adding more than 20 miles or so per day.
Full details can be found at my eBay auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Only-...item1e7512fbb9
or (Item 130813197241 )
60 odd Pictures here: http://02e55amg.shutterfly.com/pictures
Options include:
navigation
integrated Mercedes Benz OEM bluetooth
CD changer
two-tone black and silver designo leather
Upgraded “SOS” system to include newer digital technology
It also has some neat stuff from the AMG accessories catalog:
Upgraded MB-logo'd lighted front door sills (light up in a soft blue light)
AMG door locks
AMG tire-filler-valve covers
European clear turn signal lenses
Hard-wired for a "Battery Tender" when stored.
Accounting for the super low miles and the Battery Tender are AMG-enthusiast owners before me too. In fact, I directly purchased the car from a former Mercedes Benz of America AMG Assistant Product Manager and Engineer. While the MB exec received “corporate cars”, this was HIS baby that was garage kept and covered for many years. Serviced at MBUSA headquarters too. Even the underside is quite clean.
As you would thus expect of her, she has just recently received Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires at all four corners, and includes her:
two squeaky clean CarFax reports from 2010 and 2012;
full service history;
the original factory sticker price label;
the original factory build sheet (card);
all keys;
all books; and
a complete set of navigation discs.
This really is the one you want.
*************I have lowered offer to $16,900************
. I have my eye on a new toy, so make me an offer.
Thanks for looking!
Andy

I see that you have a GL already but maybe you want to trade the E AMG for a mint 2011 GL bluetec diesel 16k miles? Car has GL550 flares installed by dealer and 22" HRE wheels.

oh wow why would you want to get rid of such a new car? I'd rather have the GL than either of my E55s!

I am not interested in such a trade. Thanks much for the offer though. Unless the trade is even

After that, the dealer car you note is missing: many options that mine DOES have (including Nav and bluetooth); keys (note I have 3 including 1 newer, chrome one); some books; proper E55 floor mats; proper tires (the dealer car has non-name, cheapo brand tires - which makes a difference as that's literally where the rubber hits the road). That car's service history is completely dubious. Miles are very slightly more than mine too.
All things being equal, I reckon it's a no brainer to step up towards my price and car. The value of one key alone, known service history (recently at MBUSA headquarters for crying out loud) let alone the intangible value of Nav and bluetooth make a difference.
Oh yeah, and I have perfect spring perches, with upgraded H&R springs and Bilstein struts and shocks (not at all junk).
So, I reckon it's a no brainer to step up towards my price to buy a nice E55.
If you want my car, shoot me a PM here; show me a more reasonable bid here or on eBay; or call me> I am at two zero three nine one five nine zero zero five.
It's a special car.
Thanks!
Andy
PS- slightly better bid than your's is pending on eBay for several hours now

I think you know I am a serious buyer. I just don't think your car is worth quite whay you do. I am prbably paying to much as it is but I think you probably take good care of cars. My Escalade sold and I don't want to keep driving he RS4 daily so lets make a deal. Oh, I have to pay to ship the car as well which is going to be $500.
