Euro 230CE W123 Coupe
Restyled with horizontal headlamp clusters, the mid-range W123 body shell models were manufactured in their Stuttgart factory by Mercedes-Benz from 1975, replacing the Type W114/115 shelled cars and, in their turn, not being replaced by the Type W124 range until 1985 onwards.
Accordingly the 1984-manufactured 230CE on offer here, the 2-door coupe's bodywork and signal red paintwork are in good condition, and the Mercedes Tex interior is in great original like new condition, whilst both the 2299cc 4-cylinder engine and 4-speed automatic transmission are reportedly in very good order. Present owner is the second owner following an Army Doctor who originally purchase car in Germany and had it sent to the USA. 230CEs, like this one, can be employed quite happily as everyday drivers. Indeed, their engines and transmissions are famously hardy, whilst, like so many Merc models over the years, their classic good looks have endured welI. Indeed, pillar less coupes still look right up to date and the very high build quality of W123 cars is legendary. Ask $5600
