FS: 1999 AMG E55 <71,000 miles
A beautiful example of a rare W210 E55, in fine mechanical and cosmetic condition.
For sale is my 1999 AMG E55, with just over 70,000 original miles. Automatic transmission with silver exterior and black/blueberry leather interior. This car includes all of the options available for the model year, including the original Motorola cell phone in the armrest, premium stereo, factory alarm, heated seats, power everything, memory seats, sunshade and xenon headlights.
History:
While this is a two-owner car, it's a "one family car"...my father was the on the wait list locally in NC for nearly 2 years, and was the second recipient of the AMG when they began shipping them to the US in 1999. The vehicle was his DD (and his baby) through 2005, when he bought a Cayenne Turbo, and the AMG was brought out of the garage only for weekends and sunny days. I finally pried it out of his hands in 2008 when I had the means and life situation to finally afford it. However, with two young kids and a busy travel schedule for work, it just has not made much sense for my family. It pains me to get rid of her, but I'm just not driving the car enough to enjoy. The car has been driven roughly 3000 miles/year over the past 8 years, enough to take out and enjoy, wash, and put back to bed for a while.
Condition:
For a 13 year old vehicle, this car is in beautiful condition. The original paint is nearly flawless, with the exception of a couple of expected rock chips in the front area. Bumpers are free of any excessive marks or dings, and the chrome is perfect throughout. The car was never smoked in. There is a new headliner that matches the original grey material, as the glue failed due to age. It comes with the usual--2 keys and alarm fobs, all original manuals and paperwork (including the original window sticker), and all service paperwork.
Pictures are attached, and show the beautiful, bright exterior and the deep, dark interior...
Price is listed on Cars.com for $15,900. Please PM me if you have any questions.
I have already purchased a new vehicle, so please, NO TRADES
