Yes it's a 1998. These were NOT available from North American Dealers until MY99 but MB started building them as MY 98 for Europe and elsewhere.
Hate to do this. Bought intending to drive often. Haven't driven it in 7 months.
May be problematic importing to US unless certified by registered importer. Visually and mechanically the same as North American Spec
