1993 Mercedes 300CE Sportline
This is a rare original low mile factory Sportline that spent most of its life in the Southeast US and has now found its way to California for the last three years. During the last three years I have been working my way through the car bumper to bumper replacing/upgrading all the high wear items. The car is kept inside, has never been wrecked, has never been smoked in, and shows extremely little wear and tear for its age. This car has been maintained with an open checkbook by me and the prior owner with records and receipts to prove. This is a perfect car for the long term collector, enthusiast, or someone that wants to drive a classic. The upgrade list includes:
• New front lower control arms, steering links, struts (front), strut mounts, and shocks (back).
• New front sway bar bushings.
• Upgraded stereo head unit, front speakers, and rear amp/sub. Original Becker components labeled/packaged and will come with car and can easily be reinstalled.
• The car currently has period correct AMG Aero I wheels and comes with original Sportline specific Benz wheels as well.
• New euro halogen headlights installed, original headlight buckets will come with car.
• Hirschmann antenna just rebuilt with new gears, mast, and controller.
• New battery (4-20-13)
• New radiator, hoses, cap, fan belt, and thermostat.
• All new fuses and many relays replaced.
• New blower motor and blower motor resistor.
• New plugs, wires, and caps.
• New mass air flow sensor, air temp sensor, and CO2 sensor.
• Power steering fluid replaced along with power steering filter.
• New motor mounts.
• Trans fluid and filter replaced.
• Rear end fluid replaced.
