1992 Mercedes 500e. 169,500 well cared for miles, mainly freeway. Always starts with one-click of the key. Excellent condition. No visible rust on exterior or underneath the car. Bought it with the intent of bringing the car up to excellent working order and it kept me busy all winter. Car is now in great shape and nothing left to do for me, therefore it is for sale. I fully registered the car here in Connecticut and brought it through the emissions and inspection process. It passed with flying colors.

Runs and drives great. Transmission shifts smooth and goes into every gear. Everything works such as the sunroof, power windows, central locking system, heat, including the A/C which blows very cold. ASR light comes on once in a while, not sure why. Sometimes with the A/C on, the idle will stumble/hesitate a bit.

Self Leveling Suspension was replaced with Koni Yellow adjustable sport shocks, at all 4 corners as the SLS lines were leaking. Just had lower cladding, rocker panels & front lower spoiler repainted and entire car wet sanded and polished. Car has been repainted once before, and they did a superior job. Previous owner gave me a good history of maintenance on this car, but things I have done to it since my ownership:

*4 Cosmetically refinished factory AMG wheels installed at 169,000 miles
*Temperature Sender Switch (for dash gauge) installed at 169,950 miles
*Coolant Temperature Sensor installed at 169,950 miles
*Coolant Temperature Switch (for fan operation) installed at 169,950 miles

*A/C Condensor, A/C Lines, and R134 Refridgerant replaced in 2008 with 156,900 miles
*4 Wheel Alignment done in 2008 with 158,000 miles
*Front Brake Pads and Rotors Replaced in 2011 with 165,000 miles
*New Battery Installed in 2011 with 165,000 miles
*Power Steering Hoses Replaced in 2011 with 165,000 miles

Driver seat has slight tear from normal wear in left bolster, which I had re-stitched. Looks fine, just wanted to note that.

Car looks and drives fantastic. Passenger seats literally don't look like they ever been sat in. Car gets alot of looks and thumbs-up's. Moving onto another project, so need to free up some garage space.

Car is over 20 years old, so can't say it is perfect, and there is no warranty expressed or implied, but it is a great car for the value and all important maintenance had been done to keep this car on the road for a long long time. I have added one picture with the factory wheels which are included in the sale.

VIN Report shows an accident back in 2005, but when I bought the car I thoroughly inspected it and could not find any signs of damage. Given the condition of the car, I would say it was minor.
