1993 Mercedes 190E 2.6 Sportline Black Socal
W201 1993 Mercedes 190e 2.6 Sportline
For those who have been on the boards for many years yes, this is Sinyo's car. I purchased it back in 2009 from him and im sure who remembers him knows how cool his cars were. I cant get ahold of him anymore but he always joked he wanted to buy the car back to me since i bought it.
This is 1 of 700 ever made 190e 2.6 Sportlines! Very rare to find these days especially in this condition with slight modifications
CLEAR TITLE! The car has technically been in an accident but there was no real sufficient damage done. I was at a red light and was bumped from behind by another driver. It left a few minor scuffs and a semi cracked tail light but it was all fixed by the insurance company with OEM tail lights. I have had the car for 4 years now. I picked it up with 143k miles and now it sits at 197k Miles. Roughly 13k miles per year basically due to my daily commute from orange county to los angeles for the past 3 years, all freeway miles.
SPECS
Staggered 18" Oz Opera 8.5" front and 10" rear (offset 19 or 21)
All fenders have been rolled
Interior is Recaro black with red piping which is all in excellent condition
All the grey parts have been color matched black all around
Every speaker was changed out and upgraded including a new head unit with MP3 & Sub in the trunk - $2k
CONS
The car drives well but has recently started to occasionally stall. I am taking it in before the car is sold to fix this as it shouldnt be a big issue. If youd like to make an offer as is...youre more then welcome to and i will leave that small repair up to you
Besides that, the car has very minor issues such as listed below
1. tripometer has never worked since i bought it but the odometer is fine
2. sunroof hinge is broken so you cannot open it right now. (Needs to be replaced)
3. driver's side exterior door lock is broken. central locking system works perfectly, but must be activated from either the trunk or the passenger side door
4. hood has two small dents and theres a tiny crack in the housing under the right headlight, you can see it in the bottom pictures
Ive done quite a bit of maintenance and repairs over the 4 years with this car which include
AC Compressor
Head Gasket
Distributor
Smog Pump
Idle / Air control valve
Fan clutch
Injectors
Spark plugs
Thermostat
Price for the 190e is 5k. I will fix the stalling issue before the car is sold
If anybody is willing to take the car as is and fix the stalling issue yourself i will accept 4k for the car by September 2nd, Monday.
I just found a new car and put a deposit on it so i need to move this one as quickly as possible
Thanks for your time!
Here is the wear on the door thats been there since i bought it

UPDATE AUGUST 30TH PRICE DROP TO $3,300
Just got it back from a specialist and got the stalling issue sorted out. Tuned, idle adjustment & a new o2 sensor did the trick. Ive never had it run this smoothly before. If anybody needs a great mechanic in socal i recommend the import doctor in Huntington Beach! Im lowering the price because i don't have time to wait until i can get what i want for it. I am picking up a new car over the weekend and this needs to go

Even tho the car is running perfectly right now, Im still noticing there is a minor leak underneath the air filter box area somewhere. Not sure what it is but i dont have the time or money to put into this car anymore. Im dropping the price for a quick sale
