1988 420 SEL
For sale: 1998 420 SEL *** 78k on rebuilt motor ***
My father in law just dropped off a 1988 420 SEL S-Class mercedes, and asked that I sell it for him. I do not know a lot about cars, but figured I would at least try an enthusiast form to test the market.
All I know about the history of the car is a friend of the family owned the car and put the majority of the miles on it, and then gave it to his daughter who drove it for two years. She just sold it to my FIL
The car had it's motor rebuilt 78k miles ago. The back driver side door window has a broken electrical switch, and the leather on the front seats is in need of repair. Also the front right headlight lens is cracked.
Overall the car is straight, no dents or dings, and the paint is in great condition. Could be restored to mint rather easily.
The car is in Mesa, AZ.
