R230 SL market
Where are all the R230 cars?
From my observations:
2003-2005 SL55 and SL600 cars are selling for bargains even if the miles are low. Look hard enough and you can find a nice one with low miles for less then $30k. There seem to be a ton of 2003 and 2004 SL55's.
2007-2008 SL55 and SL600 cars seem to be holding their value a bit better. If the car has low miles it still is worth $42k+. 07 and 08 SL55 cars seem much harder to come by.
Owners of 2006 cars seem to be stuck somewhere in the middle. Odd considering the car got the facelift in 2007.

I purchased my 2003 SL500 with 36k miles a few months back for $25k. I looked at SL55's, but they all had at least twice the miles, ridden hard and $15k more. Mine has every service record since new and never had a single warranty issue. I have never looked back. Absolutely love the car.

I remember you sold the 04 SL600 few months back because needing 4 doors. You must love R230 since u got 55 and 600 already. From my understanding 55 is more reliable and cheaper to maintain than the 600.

There are a bunch of 03-04's on the market sub 30K, but the 05's and 06' seem harder to come by. 07's and 08's are still in the high 40's low 50's. I am in the market for a 07, but looking for one under 50k miles and below 40k. Definitely not easy to find...
