FS: 2006 C55 Barolo Red w/ 25k orig. miles
I'm going diesel (E350 BlueTec) and am selling my C55 that I purchased new. The car has never been wrecked or tracked, it has always been garaged and is a non-smoker car. This a very rare color for a C55 and has the Grey/Ash leather interior with Birds Eye Maple trim. Window tinting has been added since these pictures were taken.
COLORS:
Exterior Color - Barolo Red Metallic (544U)
Interior - Alpaca Grey Nappa leather (848A) with Birds Eye Maple wood trim
OPTIONS:
Lighting Pkg. - bi-xenon headlamps & heated headlamp washers
Premium Pkg. - 6-disc. CD changer, rear window sunshade & rain sensor wipers
DVD Command Navigation System
Heated seats
Metallic Paint
Sirius Satellite Radio
It has been serviced by my local M-B dealer and was recently serviced, with no issues found. It has been a no problem car from the day I bought it and virtually everything looks and operates as it did when new. The inside still SMELLS new! The interior is absolutely in the same condition as it left the factory...LIKE NEW...and except for a couple of VERY small paint chips on the hood, the exterior paint is in perfect condition too.
For the model year 2006, only 451 C55's were brought into the US market, so you certainly won't be seeing yourself coming and going. Most of these 451 C55's were either Black, Silver or White, and I've not seen, or heard of, another one in Barolo Red, which means you'll most likely never see another car just like this one.
I have installed a clear bra on many sections of the car. It is completely stock and has never been modified in any way. It will not disappoint the most discriminating buyer. I'm asking $24k OBO. The car is currently located in the Palm Springs, CA area but I can bring it to Orange County, CA with a few days notice. PM me with any questions you may have. Thx, John

Since I've owned my car, I've seen 2 other Mars Red C55's on the road, but as of today, I've not seen another Barolo Red one, nor have I had anyone else tell me they've seen one, although I have no doubt they're out there...somewhere! It would be neat to speak with another C55 Barolo Red owner, so if you're out there give me a shout.

You may be correct Newz about the Mars Red being more rare than Barolo Red, but from my personal experience when I was buying my car, I had 3 new Mars Red C55's available at 3 different dealers, but I could not find another Barolo Red one for sale, new or used.
Since I've owned my car, I've seen 2 other Mars Red C55's on the road, but as of today, I've not seen another Barolo Red one, nor have I had anyone else tell me they've seen one, although I have no doubt they're out there...somewhere! It would be neat to speak with another C55 Barolo Red owner, so if you're out there give me a shout.

** There's a Barolo Red in IL ** (one of the reasons you may not find one is that the sellers listed it as the color Wine or Wine Red. )

Car moved to OC
I have moved the car to Orange County, so a couple of people can more easily see and drive it. If anyone else in SoCal is interested in my car, this might make it easier for you to come see it too. Thx

Car looks "amazing". Love the color - never seen it before. FWIW, I think your price is fair, considering mileage and condition. You car has even less miles than mine (35K) - and I thought mine was super low.
