FS: 2002 C320 - a good Texas car
I am selling my 2002 C320 with 116,000+ miles on it. I'm asking $6500 or best offer. I purchased it in May and shortly after changed jobs and now commute 65 highway miles a day. I am selling this so I can purchase a 98-99 E300D and get better MPGs. I'm getting 23-25 with this car, so its not bad at all, but given how much I'm driving...
I enjoy this car a lot, sporty, fun to drive, but I want something that gets better mpg. I am the 2nd owner of this car. The original owner lived in the Houston area. I have the CarFax report from when I purchased the car. If you'd like a copy let me know. I had a shop who specializes in Mercedes-Benz look at it before I bought it. I put new tires on it, now have about 5,000 miles on them, and a 4 wheel alignment. It does need the valve gasket replaced but I've chosen to instead keep adding oil until its bad enough to replace. I've added 3 quarts over about 7,000 miles, so not a bad leak. This is a non-smoker car. I think before I got it no one had ever sat in the back seat. The owner before me was a jeweler and took very good care of this car. I'm very picky about the interior of my car being clean.
I grew up outside of Buffalo, NY so I'm not used to vehicles of this age being is such great shape. This car has lived its life in Texas, so not a spot of rust on it anywhere that I've seen.
If you'd like to have your mechanic look at it, I'll work with you. I also purchased window tinting (from Snaptint.com, $100) but have not had time to install it. The is VIN: WDBRF64J82F277084
