FS: 2002 R129. SL500 Silver Arrow $12500
Health issue forces sale of my pride and joy. She has been my daily driver for 4 years, is in great shape and runs like a top. 93xxx miles. Recent work: rear transmission seal and crank pos sensor replaced, alignment, replaced trunk finisher. New front bumper cover and inner absorber just installed (no accident, caught it on a high curb while parking and ripped it loose). Tires are Conti Extreme Contact DWS, have 15k on them, lots of tread left.
No leaks inside or out. Previous owner replaced soft top in 2005 under warranty. Both tops. Paint and body are near perfect. One wheel has a slight ding in the rim. There is a tiny dent (1/4"), barely visible near the trunk.
New Kenwood stereo head w/cd, iPhone integration, Pandora, professionally installed July 2013.
Car runs, drives and rides like a dream. No rattles or squeaks. Remarkably quiet for a convertible. Always garaged, never smoked in, no stains or funky smells. Have all service records including from previous owner.
All manuals, etc included. Windscreen is perfect. Hardtop rack and cover and original garage lift (never installed) included. Two keys.
$12500 firm. Car is in Salem, Oregon.

Bargain for an amazing car. Easily the most likely to become a collectable out of the R129.
Hard to find any previous generation SL's (70's and 80's style) for under $10,000.00 in great condition. Adjust for inflation and a buyer could probably enjoy your car as a weekend driver for the next 3-15 years and not lose any money (only maintenance) when they resell.
(Yes I know, I'm a depreciation cycle nerd).
