Up for sale is a collector's quality 1993 Mercedes 600SL with original 25.243 miles. Signal red exterior with beige leather interior. Loaded with all options available for 1993. This car is virtually brand new, soft top and hard top are both excellent, still has new car smell. Full maintenance history, original window sticker for $129,000, three keys, manuals, hard top, etc.

Car was purchased with 500 miles on odometer in 1993 by elderly couple in Illinois and they had it ever since. They had two cars and rarely drove 600SL. For last 15 years vehicle sat in the garage most of its time. During these years of storage car was taken to dealer from time to time for maintenance: oil change, brake fluid change, coolant flush and other things. Car was always hand washed and waxed by local mobile detailer in owners garage.
Technically there are two owners from Illinois. First owner had it for around 500 miles and then second owner, above mentioned couple, bought the car and had it ever since 1993. Climate controlled garage kept and never driven in bad weather.

I drove the car from IL to NY in June,2013 without any problems. It runs and drives great, awesome engine power, smooth shifting transmission, air conditioner and all accessories work fine.

Bought this mint V12 for myself and wanted to keep it but already own 91 500SL roadster, 95 S600 coupe and four other Mercedes vehicles. Took this 600SL out only twice since driving it from IL to NY. Would like to see this car go to true Mercedes enthusiast, like myself, or collector who will love it as much as previous owner and I did. Also, previous owner will be happy to discuss vehicle history with potential buyer.

All maintenance done by dealer in IL. Other preventive repairs were completed-rebuilt both throttle bodies and replaced breather pipe under intake. As the owner of Mercedes restoration website I know these cars and took care of these common and expensive issues.
