Selling my 1999 Mercedes-Benz CL500. I am the 3rd owner and have about 95% of all maintenance receipts and service done to the vehicle. I am selling because I need the two extra doors. Vehicle has been well maintained during my ownership and prior to it as well. It was sold to the 2nd owner as a CPO (certified pre-owned) vehicle through a Mercedes-Benz dealer. Title is in hand and clean with no issues. I've attached a photo of the invoice.

Information:

Currently clicked past 109,000 miles as it is my daily driver and extremely comfortable and reliable at that for a 15 year old vehicle. When I purchased it (May 2013), the replica AMG wheels were swapped for a set of OEM AMG Aero II wheels (18x8.5 et44 - retail value of $1,400 EACH) and new Michelin Pilot MX Z4 (255/40/18) all season tires.

Upon inspection, the auto-leveling suspension system was showing signs of failure. Instead of replacing it with factor components, I decided to remove the setup in its entirety and replace it with Bilstein Sport Shocks and B&G Sport Springs. The springs are progressive which keeps a very factory-like smoothness to the ride but allows for tighter handling. The ride has been compared to that of an AMG vehicle. All factory components (hydraulic lines and fluid spheres were removed and sealed by a professional Mercedes-Benz/Maybach technician).

Obsidian Black Exterior (will benefit from a professional detail)
Black Nappa Leather Interior (great shape)

Options:

harman/kardon Dolby 5.1 system (Becker unit)
ESP-Electronic Stability Program
Power Rear-Window Sunshade

Service:

New OEM ball joints & sway bar links
New OEM front brake pads
Removed OEM SLS (hydraulic fluid) suspension as it needed to be replaced.
B&G Suspension S2 Sport Springs
Bilstein Sport Shocks

Up front and honest items:

Driver-side window regulator - I can source at cost if necessary.
Instrument cluster bulb, 1 of the 3 bulbs is not operable (illuminates the gas light dial - tank empty light still functions as it should)
No dings or dents, some slight paint issues that could be cleared up with a professional detail. I have not had a chance to take care of this.
One fog-light lens has a slight crack from road tear.
Trunk tumbler - key hole is missing after apparent lock-out incident from previous owner.
Driver and passenger side seat belts work fine but need to be tightened up a bit. Every 10-15 minutes I have to lightly depress the red belt button to tighten it up.

I'm asking $10,500 with the AMG Aero II wheels. They are worth $3,000+ alone. If interested, I can remove them and put on the 16x8" 8-slot wheels (500E fitment) I purchased as a backup. Without the AMG wheels, I would accept $8,500.

VIN: WDBGA70G8XA430220

Better photos once the weather clears up a bit.
