Time has come to sell my car. She's been a great car, and I've loved every minute of ownership.I'm the 2nd owner and purchased this from a retired professional older gentleman. She's a 2005 E55 with approximately 87,000 miles. (I drive it every day, so mileage may increase). I've babied this car since the day I took ownership and the previous owner was very meticulous. She had her services performed at Calabasas Mercedes and Encino Mercedes dealerships. This car has almost every option that was available...

I really don't think it is modded "that much". There are a few others that have been modded more. The engine is unmolested. It's all cosmetic, but I see your point. I don't think it is above mb world market, I think others are just trying to dump what they have, thus killing the market for everybody else. I'll let those get swooped up and then still keep mine at a respectable price. There really isn't another 1 out there that has the factory options like this. Sure, there are a few cheaper ones with no rear sunshade, no keyless go, no heated and cooled seats... I saw one, sat in it, and felt odd having to insert a key to turn on the car. It felt like 2005, not 2014. Getting into this car, you don't feel like it is almost 10 years old because it has all the goodies a newer one has.
She even still gets the upfront valet parking... For an older broad, she's still got it.
I got offered $20,000 yesterday. Still debating, but will probably say NO.
