2010 E63 AMG (needs work)
#3
I'm interested and will send a PM tonight but $29K is way high for a '10 E63 needing that kind of work. With oil starvation, you can't really tell what was damaged, pistons, cylinder bores, crankshaft, top end, etc. Unless you replace every moving part which would cost an astronomical price, no shop is going to rebuild that engine and guaranty it will work like it should. A used engine would be the best choice and that will be $10K minimum plus the labor.
I checked recent dealer auction sales and the closest match to your car was a 61,000 mile car that sold for $27,000 in below average condition which I assume didn't have mechanical problems. There was also one with 48,000 miles in average condition that sold for $36,500 but one with 29,000 miles selling for $32,000. At an insurance auction, that car would bring $16,000 to $18,000.
