I am selling my 2001 E55 AMG after almost 4 years of daily driving. I am the 2nd owner. I bought it from the original owner in Charlotte, NC in 2011 with about 76000 miles on it. It now has 133,500. I have all the paperwork dating back to when the car was new. It has been well maintained through its whole life. Excellent condition inside and out and excellent mechanical condition. Exterior flaws are limited to very minor scuffing on a couple of the wheels and one noticeable door ding in the drivers door that could easily be popped out by a paintless dent repair person. Interior is in very clean shape as well with minor scuffs on the drivers door sill and some wear in the drivers seat due to age. No cracks/rips on the seats. The dash is in great shape still. The car has been garage kept at virtually every point in its life. Myself and the original owner kept the car in covered garage parking at work and at home. The car has a clean Autocheck/CarFax with no wrecks or any other issues. Clean title in hand.
The car is all original except for the radio head unit, which was replaced with a top model Eclipse CD/receiver. I have the original M-B factory radio and CD Changer available and will swap back if requested. I also removed the TelAid wires from the arm rest along with the original phone cradle which was obsolete.
The car needs no repairs currently other than one bulb in the instrument panel being out (a little dim on the left side of the middle LCD). Also, the Gear indicator LCD is garbled. I made a repair to it about 3 years ago, and it was better for a long time, but it has gotten worse again over the last year. The clock and other LCD displays are fine. During my 4 years of ownership, I have done the following: New OEM brake pads and rotors on all 4 wheels, new sway bar end links and bushings, fixed oil leak on oil filter housing/oil cooler, new window regulator for rear passenger side, new poly-v belt, idler, and tensioner, new fan clutch, new brake light switch, and the usual A and B maintenance. I just did Service B in early fall including air filters for cabin and engine. Other than that, the car has not needed anything other than gas.
