FS 2002 AMG E55 W210 Low Miles
The car has 101,018 miles (still accumulating slightly as I drive her 20 miles or so daily). It drives/appears as new. Please be certain to carefully review the pictures: simply amazing. Even the underside is quite clean.
A few remarkable facts about this E55: 0-60 in 4.8 seconds. 25 Highway MPG at 75 miles per hour (My fact, irrespective of the EPA estimate). 20+ gallon fuel tank. The ultimate rocketship, canyon-carver and long haul sedan.
This particular Black E55 has much that is special. It is very well equipped with things like:
o 354 hp
o 391 lb/ft of torque
o stability control,
o traction control,
o xenon (HID) headlights,
o leather, special sport seats, and on and on.
Adding to the unique nature are options including:
• integrated Mercedes Benz OEM bluetooth
• CD changer
* heated seats (2 stage)
• Upgraded "SOS" system to include newer digital technology
My car has been adult owned (me and prior owners) and properly maintained. It runs, drives, looks and smells new.
Points of interest:
* crystal clear headlight and blinker lenses
* cup holder still functions
* no wear to seats or steering wheel
* factory bluetooth integrated into car's audio/COMAND system
In fact, at the just recent 100k mile service point, I went on a campaign to change items that are known to go bad on E55s at some point, but which were not yet a problem (my philosophy is that it's far easier to avoid inconvenience). So apart from regular maintenance, this finely tuned sledgehammer has also received:
o new crank position sensor
o new fuel pump
o new fuel filter
o new fuel pump relay
o properly cleaned air flow meter
Further peace of mind in driving this car. As a bonus for you: while *not* yet needed, I also purchased proper front brake pads and wear sensors on "Cyber Monday" at an irresistible price. The brakes are fine and have a cartload of life left. Regardless, I will include these in the sale (and thus save you over $200 at some later date)
As you would thus expect of a car of this ilk, my E55 has received proper (and $$) Michelin Pilot Super Sports at all four corners, and includes:
• service history;
• all keys (yes!; not just one key);
• all books;
• Clean CarFax (NO accidents);
• Non-smoker car . . .always. . .car honestly still has the distinctive Mercedes new car smell;
• No wear to interior, and proper Mercedes E55 floor mats (big, big $).
• No shimmys, squeals or odd noises. . .the car runs, stops, and drives as new
• All electronics work
Please note that I also have a brand new set of snows on brand new 18" styled wheels that can be negotiated separately if you have interest.
What's wrong with the car? Nothing really except in the spirit of nitpicking for you and full disclosure:
• The A/C has stopped blowing completely cool air and will need to be topped off next summer; and
• The clock has a notorious, minor problem with a few pixels (an aesthetic, non mechanical problem). It can be easily fixed in about 3 hours if you're handy (I may yet get to it before the sale); or you can send it here (http://bba-reman.com/us/index.aspx ) and they will fix it for $115 with 1 - 2 day turn around
Having owned newer AMG E class cars, I prefer the w210 chassis, because of the mechanical brakes (no electronic wizardry in the brakes, yet still with anti-lock and stability control); the metal-sprung suspension (as opposed to airbags); and generally, a higher quality build and materials. Another fact: this car is a rare sighting, as it is one of only 997 E55s produced in 2002. 2002 is also the last year of the wonderful, highly trouble-free W210 E55.
I would look forward to further discussing the car with real buyers, and would consider interesting sports car/sedan trades.

In short, you have found your W210 E55!
Thanks for looking!
