For sale is a 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Designo Launch Edition, finished in Designo Silver Metallic over Charcoal two-tone Nappa leather. This car features the Launch Edition package ($9,500 factory option) which includes this special silver metallic paint only available on the Launch Edition, Nappa leather interior, walnut wood trim on the steering wheel and shift knob, 5 spoke 18" wheels only available on the Launch Edition, black alacantara headliner, heated and cooled seats that also massage, and bi-Xenon HID headlights. The car also features an 8-speaker Bose Audio Pilot sound system, as well as Mercedes COMAND navigation system with a six disc CD changer.
I'm sure most here are familiar with the motor, but for those who aren't - 5.0 liter V8, rated at 302 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, fed to the rear tires via a 5-speed automatic with buttons on the steering wheel to manually control shifts. The retracting hard top works as it should, as does the roll bar that can be raised and lowered electronically.
This is an incredibly nice, one owner car, with only 26,xxx miles from new. Clean and clear CARFAX, no accident damage whatsoever. The car needs nothing from its next owner, other than to be driven.
