80 300TD Wagon (Southern California)
80 300TD Wagon. 5 cylinder non-turbo engine. Owned over 13 years, (garage kept most of that time). Just have too many other cars & projects. 167K mileage. 3rd owner, Guy I bought it from had the trans rebuilt (135K miles), have receipt. My mechanic said that the engine looks to be a professionally rebuilt one from someone like Metric Motors. Car was orginally burgandy color, was repainted white. Tan interior in very good condition, original radio was rebuilt (but it still shifts quirky). Overall condition is good but certainly not a show car or anything. One of the electric windows does not work. Starts right up no matter how long it sits (of course must maintain the battery, but thats all). Have repair & maintenance records since 1997. Most recent was a new front wheel bearing, new brake booster.
