Interested in Buying: 2000-2002 E55 AMG
I've just sold my 911 and am in the process of getting rid of my current daily driver. I'm seriously considering a W210 E55 as my new daily. I'd really like to stick with '00-'02 models. My wish list is below:
-I'd LOVE an anthracite/grey car, but I'd look at any. Silver would be my last choice unless the paint was flawless.
-Solid color interior
-All options (can deal w/no nav, but I'd prefer it)
-I'd prefer mileage to be under 100k unless you've got an extremely well documented service history with lots of preventative maintenance done. Even then, I'd prefer to stay as close to 100k as possible.
-Mostly stock, but I wouldn't mind a car that already has lowering springs and/or bolt ons added
-I'd like the car to be as mint as possible. A little rash on the wheels is livable, but a perfect condition interior, clear headlight lenses, and a clean engine bay really get me off
-Clear vehicle history
-Low ownership count
-Vehicles that have never or rarely ever saw snow/salt on roads.
There's a 52k miles car on eBay right now, but the owner has the reserve set a double book value with minor accident history. I was ready to buy right away if he would have been priced realistically. The car recently sold here by e55LTW (I think) would be something I'd have purchased.
I'd be paying in cash/wire/cashier's check, and am willing to travel/ship the car within reason. I'll be ready to buy (hopefully) by the weekend when the wire from my 911 clears my account. I'm in Atlanta.
