Hi there! I'm new to see forum even though i share the love for Mercedes Benz! I came here because unfortunatly i have to sell my C43. I'm hopping to find someone out here that will really love it.










So it's a 1999 C43 amg silver as you can see, it has close to 200K on it. I bought it at 185K 7 months ago from someone i know. And he bought it from a dealership in 2008 with 120K. I have some records from him (water pump, tie rod, brakes, oil/filter changes).
The engine runs fine and still have a lot of power despite of the high mileage. The transmission makes some noise when hitting the accelarator too suddenly but does shift at the appropriate time, as those car are known for transmission issues. Previous owner told me that the mechanic who was used to work on this car said that it was a $200 piece of rubber that didn't necessarly needed to be replaced. I wanted to get another diagnosis but never got the chance to and the car can be driven without hearing this noise at all.




The inside is well kept with normal tear of the steering wheel's leather from contact with hand, The seats are in perfect conditons, a small leather patch has been done to the driver door's panel and there is an ink stain on the LCD climate control screen wich still work correctly. The front seats switch is intermittent but besides that all the electronics work.



The body paint is in very good conditions, with after market front bumper and the rear bumper's got a little crack.




I've tried to describe it as well as i could, I'm sure you all know what are the special features of this car no need to say that it is a very pleasurable ride and very well engineered. I mentionned with all honnesty the bads of this car due to its age but it's overlooking great and clean and i'm sure it will give a lot of pleasure to a future owner.

So i finally got a diagnosis on the transmission noise, and it's the driveline insulators, doughnut rubbers. The mechanic told me it was an easy fix...
So i got no replies... Really ?

 

You didnt mention a price. What are you asking?

 

I said to make me an offer, i put an advertisement on ebay as well and am asking $4500 obo. Somebody just made me an offer at $4000 wich i haven't declined nor accepted yet.
