1989 300CE for sale
I am selling my 300 CE. It is a 1989 with 92,000 original miles. It is burgundy metallic with cream/tan leather interior. The VIN is: WDBEA50D7KA905429 and I have a vehicle history report that I can email to you (it's clean).
I have slowly been refurbishing old parts, worn simply from sitting for extended periods. I have just in the past six months installed the following new items:
4 Goodyear V-rated tires
air filter
battery
alternator
fuel pump
fuel filter
KYB shocks and struts
KYB strut mounts
engine mounts
transmission mount
lower ball joints
steering idler arm
I've also ordered new brake rotors and pads, new spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and a power steering filter, that have yet to be installed. Approximately one month ago, I installed new sheepskin seat covers, as seen in the pictures.This 300CE is an excellent low mileage example. However, she is 26 years old and has her quirks; for instance, there is some fading of the wood trim, some of the rubber & plastic components under the hood have become dry, and the a/c does not cool (likely the compressor, as I attempted to charge the system, but it was nearly full). An a/c compressor can be purchased from pelicanparts.com for less than $350. However, the heater works extremely well, all the windows go up and down via each switch, and the sunroof opens/closes/tilts with ease.

Hey sapguy, sorry for the late reply, work has kept me rather busy. Anyway, I have a few updates - I replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and ignition rotor; the front and rear brakes have been replaced: pads, rotors, and lines - also new calipers on the rear. The power steering fluid and filter have been changed, and best of all, the air conditioning is repaired and working perfectly (turns out it was only a $70 sensor!) Also, the mileage has now climbed to 97,000 as she is my daily driver.
I am located in NW Arkansas, but would be willing to meet you in a nearby metropolitan area, i.e. Little Rock, St. Louis, or Oklahoma City. And with regards to price, I could let her go for $5,700.
