Since the asking price is such a hot topic.. Here's a similar car that sold for substantially less at a dealer. I was arranging financing to buy the car but someone apparently flew in with their mechanic from Atlanta and bought the car before me.

Nice price. I didn't see where that vehicle(listed above) was at stage 2 performance. It really does make a big difference performance wise, stock vs stage 2. Plus a 2005 vs 2006 might account for more resale. Add it all up and 18-19k for nomads is a fair price IMO. Depends on what level of performance u prefer. Stage 2's are

I'm not really sure what makes this car overpriced at $19.5 considering the color, condition, and mileage. 
I keep up with e55s on the market and this doesn't seem comparable to the $15k options people are comparing it too. Unless I misunderstood something about the price.

WTF, if the dude wanted to sell the car for 30k thats his problem. Obviously it's not killing him keeping it around. The same people that are griping about the price would've had the same complaints if it was 15k.

That car had no pano and no mods...mine has all maintenance done, new tires, no curb rash, all original and near perfect paint, driven in Fla. for 92k miles (no salt or bumps) etc. If you, or anyone else wants others bc of $2500 then that is your choice but many people on here can tell you about the importance of the things I mentioned! It sounds like some of you guys think I am asking $5k more than the value! I guess it appears that you guys are mad that I am not giving it away I guess? I don't know! When you guys buy one and it turns out to be a POS then maybe you will understand! Good luck in your searches, that's all I can say!

Chill out guys. Heck, if he wants to sell it for $100k that's his choice, and if a buyer wanted to pay that price, that would be the buyers choice.
For what it's worth, I think it's a decent enough price. Best deal in town? No. But I've seen far worse deals too. Solid price for what appears to be a very nice, below-average mileage E55.
Now, the mods part... in general, they do not add to the resale value... and again, in GENERAL they can actually have a negative impact. However, forum-to-forum buying/selling to people who are equal fans and have interest in said modifications is not a general situation, soooo... take it for what it's worth. With mods, you just have to find the right buyer to get the premium-over-stock price. And never expect to recoup your money. But that much is obvious to everyone, this seller included given the cost of mods vs. price of car.
Anyway, nice car and solid price. GLWS. And SVT, give the guy a break. In the end, this is his thread, and if someone wants to pay what you view is a big overprice... that's between them. You've said your piece.

its white it has some goodies on it that most would end up blowing money on anyway, its a rare car and after being in one with a 150k on the clock there are tons of unused miles left on that car. and after driving a 03 cobra over the weekend that was 20g's this benz would woop it in style.
