I have a nice little car collection and recently added a Aston Martin Vantage which I am storing in Scottsdale until I drive it home in May. Planning on selling my beloved SL55 this spring (or sooner) to make room. I am a detail and maintenance fanatic and my car is perfectly maintained and needs nothing more than an oil change in about 3500 miles, looking to get $38,900. This car simply cannot be compared to your typical SL55 and is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who realizes the value of a completely sorted car, equal performance to an SL65 with far better weight balance and maintenance exposure (I know, I have had both).

Diamond Silver 2005 SL55 AMG with just over 62k original miles, Keyless Go, Charcoal interior with rare Brushed Aluminum trim (not wood) with the following upgrades: Kleemann Stainless Exhaust Headers, Eurocharged Supercharger Pulley (installed 1/2016) Kleemann TCU upgrade and color matched Kleemann TS6 3 piece 19" (9.5" f/ 11" r) Wheels with new Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires + a full set of Factory SL55 (perfect condition) wheels also with new Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires. The paint, wheels, interior and even the engine bay is/are flawless. Factory paint matched SL63 rear lip spoiler and CF front lip spoiler. Radar Detector Hardwire for Valentine One plus Blinder Laser Jammers installed front and rear , Carbon Kevlar Focal (their highest level separates) and JL Audio amp/speaker upgrade integrated into the factory locations completed in 2011 by Benchmark Motoring ($6,000+ cost, see link below). I upgraded the factory NAV this last year with a Pioneer NEX8100 (their top model NAV) with Apple CarPlay Mirroring with your iPhone, DVD in motion, Pandora, Satellite Radio etc. I found an excellent factory look bezel that makes look as it was meant to be there and it now has current technology touchscreen Navigation. I also installed full HD color front and rear (backup) cameras, so no worries about hitting the front spoiler, all in there is $10,000 in top shelf audio installed, Truly State of The Art! Braking System is upgraded with Benz Works 2 piece rotors with Akebono Ceramic Pads and stainless brake lines. Steering wheel is upgraded with a brand new Alcantara/Leather steering wheel from a late model SL65 with full size paddle shifters (matches perfectly). Ride height is fully adjustable with a Lowering Module M1 (see link below) which creates a fully integrated system to control ride height from an in dash menu. This car has the factory lowering feature that allows about 2" ride height adjustment from a switch on the center console for parking/speedbumps/steep driveways. The rear end has extra stability with Evosport Rear Toe Links. Additional supercharger cooling is augmented by a Johnson CM30 pump and an extra, larger front intercooler, fully integrated. This SL55 has 493hp stock and about 600hp with the Headers, mild tune and underdrive pulley that were all professionally installed and is extraordinarily fast. This car has been garaged all its life, a perfect Carfax is available and all maintenance is up to date.
This car was $125,000 new and with the tasteful improvements represents an incredible value on a world class Grand Touring Coupe/Convertible. It has been waxed, polished and leather treated more times than I can count. It also comes with a Mercedes Factory Car Cover and a Griots Garage Battery Tender. All services up to date, needs no service until next oil change in about 4500 miles.
This particular SL55 is in a League of its own, capable of nearly 200mph and must be appreciated for the excellent "Like New" example that it is, I have owned it for 5+ years and it was bone stock when I bought it, it took a long while to find one this perfect without wood trim and right colors. Everything on the car is top shelf. I have had a lot of fun with it at shows and weekend cruising but would consider selling to make space in my garage. I doubt that you will ever see a nicer or as well equipped Supercar for this kind of money. Serious inquiries only please.
