Up for sale is a 1973 Mercedes 450sl with 88k miles. The car runs and drives great and has an extensive maintenance record. It has been rarely driven and garage kept. This is a "driver" condition car, very good exterior with a few small blemishes. The soft top was replaced about 5 years ago. Has a cd player/radio in place of the original.

Also helpful to include colors, ext and Int, weeds out calls from folks who are very color specific, like me. Since the odometers on all these older SL's are prone to stop working, also helpful to say that the odometer is still working and the miles are true. Almost every ad you see for an old benz with a broken odometer says, "Odometer just broke last month", yea right, every single one just a month ago.

Pictures are another huge help to selling, rather than forcing everyone to email or PM you and ask, just take a couple of shots and include them, adds a lot to any for sale ad.
