Strong running and reliable for daily driver. Just needs some cleaning up and the top is shabby. Original California car.
If you look at the main photo showing it with the top down, that is how the car looked about 7 months ago. It was parked at the beach outside of our house. Although the car looked like it had a brand new shiny blue metallic paint job, it was not paint but a vinyl wrap and succumbed to the elements.
It runs great and if you have the time the wrap can be removed. From what I understand the original black paint underneath is not too bad but I have not seen it. Just told that by the seller when I bought it 2 years ago and looking at the door jambs and under the hood, it is very possible.
Body is straight and has no dents or dings. The engine, which runs great, is probably worth more than I am asking for the entire car! And it runs great as is!
At $1575, an SL that you can drive away and use regularly. Spruce it up it will be worth significantly more than the asking price.
