Complete Designo Piano black lacquer wood kit w/ sterring wheel GL X166
Up for sale is a complete 7 piece Designo Piano Black Lacquer interior wood kit (with LED illumination) for 2013-2016 GL X166 chassis vehicles AND the matching steering wheel w/ paddle shift. The entire set "may" fit ML models too from what I have read but I can not confirm that.
Condition is 9.9/10, there are two VERY minor marks on a two of the door panel inserts that I was not able to capture w/ the camera. Everything was removed from my 2014 GL63 w/ the auburn Designo interior package at 11K miles in favor of brown ash accents.
MB of Westminster, CO. quoted me $6950 for the same parts (uninstalled). $4000 gets everything shipped insured.

Im not sure how to confirm if the steering wheel has lane assist, but the side mirrors have the yellow to red indicators on each side.
My wife likes the electronics, I like the long skinny pedal on the right ;-)

If your steering wheel shakes when you drift into another lane, you have it.
good choice on switching, black didn't look good on your interior.
how much for everything except the steering wheel?

This wood kit & steering wheel are still available.
I'd be happy to walk the buyer through the removal/installation process since Ive been there and done that w/o a scratch or nick on my personal GL.

After swapping steering wheels, I'm pretty sure the steering wheel has nothing to do with the lane assist. So, this could be used with GL & GLE's that do not have this option.
I cant figure out how to edit my first post but I'll let everything go for $3200 shipped/insured.

Looking back, I should have taken pictures and done a write up for everyone. I'd be happy to give the buyer some tips and my cell # so I can walk you through the R&R of the wood kit.
Believe it or not, the steering wheel was the easiest part. The dash pieces were the next easiest.
Center console is held in by 4 bolts & 3 electrical plugs, if I remember correctly. It needs to be removed to get access to the 2 screws that hold the cup holder assembly in place. this too was VERY easy & straight forward.
Door panels took a bit longer because there are a few more screws to the inserts but its very easy to do with the panels off.
Heres a step by step for the steering wheel from another thread.

I used these videos to help me R&R everything ( even though they were for earlier generation GLs's or other models)
