2007 E63
FS: 2007 Mercedes E63 AMG - 105,000 miles - $15,500 (price drop)
2007 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG
Price: $15500
Mileage: 105,000 miles
Options: Standard plus Premium 1 Package and pano roof
Color: Platinum Blue Metallic (code is actually for Tealite Blue but I understand they are the same)
I have owned this E63 AMG vehicle for the last 1.5 years and have logged 50,000 miles on it as my daily driver. It has been an exciting, luxurious and reliable means of transportation. The car runs and drives great. Air suspension is fine.
The price takes in to account a few things that some may want to remedy. (1) there are a couple of places on the front bumper cover where the clear coat is peeling. Otherwise, the exterior is in very good condition. (2) as is a very common issue with the panoramic roof, the gear on the electric motor that actuates the roof and the worm drive mechanism have worn such that they do not adequately engage. I fixed this once, but the issue has recurred. In short, the panoramic roof is currently inoperable. However, the power sunshade works fine and the panoramic roof still provides an open and airy feel. (3) there is a cam adjuster on Bank 1 that is a little noisy. It was this way when I took ownership.
When I purchased the car, the long term fuel trims were both elevated due to an intake gasket leak but it was not throwing any codes. It eventually threw a code for lean bank 2. I replaced the intake gasket. I also replaced the PCV valve since I had the intake off. This was done over a year ago and the fuel trims have been in spec since that time.
The tires on the vehicle are a matching set of Continental Extreme Contact DW summer tires. They have good remaining tread but they have become a bit noisy. I also have a matching set of Blizzak winter tires with one season of use that will come with the car.
This E63 AMG has been well maintained and has had oil changes more frequently than suggested by Mercedes with the recommended Mobile 1 oil and Mercedes filters. In fact, the oil was recently changed along with new NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs.
Please feel free to call or text with questions. I live in Bolivar, MO but work in Springfield, MO. Therefore, I can make the car available for viewing in either location. I also have more pictures that I can send on request.
Text and email are the best way to reach me. I'll try and check PMs too, but I tend to miss those once in a while.
