1994 Mercedes E320 Wagon W124 TE $2500 In Los Angeles (Marina del Rey)

Interior is in excellent shape. Slight tears on driver’s seat, slight mark on arm rest. Head liner is in great condition
3rd row seat (7 sit comfortably) and rear privacy cover for when you have items in the back, the rear cargo net functions well too! It’s been useful for dogs.
Has self-leveling suspension that functions well, so no matter how much weight is in the back the car rides evenly.
The Good:
15K miles ago:
Fully rebuilt transmission
New head gasket, engine seals, ignition parts, spark plugs
Fully rebuilt rear suspension new bushings/control arms, rear nitrogen spheres (shocks)
New front control arm bushings, wheel bearings
New brake discs, pads all around
New radiator, water pump, expansion tank
Tinted windows,
Power seats, door locks, sunroof, power windows, all in great shape
16” wheels and 2 tires in good, shape, the other 2 in excellent shape
The bad:
Needs a replacement bowdon/kickdown cable to the transmission, as well as a valve kit to fix the 2nd to 3rd gear shift flare (common problem, easy inexpensive fix)…it will shift slow from 2nd to 3rd gear.
Battery drain…it will drain the battery when parked so have to disconnect it. I believe that it is coming from either the door buzzer (buzzes when key is left in door) or the aftermarket radio (which works, and has an oldschool ipod aux cable too). My electrical knowledge of these cars is limited…I’m sure an expert can deduce the source pretty easily.
The ugly:
Car was hit lightly in the back…rear bumper cover has cracked.
Some minor dings and scratches.
Paint needs a wax…it’s been a while, but looks great with a little bit of effort.
Hood – was dinged up from previous owner, looks a little bit bumpy
A couple greasy stains in the carpet in the rear cargo area.
The straight story:
This is an extra car for us that has seen little use since we’ve owned it. I bought it with the intention of keeping it forever about 7 years ago. If the car needed maintenance, I would fix it and anything related preventatively. It isn’t perfect, but with a little bit of love this is an amazing car. From long road trips, to being helpful for several moves, and just helping a friend with something bulky…this car has been amazing. I am letting it go because I just don’t have the time to maintain it, and the space to keep it. These were built to be as tough as a tank, and this one really has been. I know this car is worth a bunch more in parts, but don’t want to break up a great example of an amazing vehicle. Not in a rush to sell and low ball offers will be ignored.
