FS 1995 Mercedes C36 AMG

1995 AMG C36 Sedan, Imperial Red with black interior. 98,722 miles, all stock, never modded in any way. 3.6 litre dual cam I6 engine, 4 sp auto trans, 4 wheel disc brakes, tele wheel, cold a/c, power seats, windows, mirrors, locks, antenna and moonroof, it all works. Factory 17" AMG monoblock wheels with new Yokohama tires. Factory installed telephone. Well cared for, always collector owned/garaged, clean Carfax, same family owned since 2004, where it was purchased as a Mercedes "Certified Pre-Owned car". Collector quality car with no disappointments, drive it home comfortably to anywhere. The engine harnesses were professionally rebuilt/rewired 2 yrs ago. Some expected small scratches and chips at front fascia, and headliner needs to be reglued. $10,800. I'm about an hour south of Nashville, right off I-65. David, 615-517-7631 thanks.

New, old Mercedes and REAL AMG's.
Quick question: I noticed that the "AMG" emblem on the valve covers is yellow. Was it supposed to be like that from the factory?

PM sent, by the way

I'm not sure how it originally was supposed to be. Others I've seen look similar. It kinda looks like it used to be chromed plastic?..At any rate, it looks like factory, not some stuck on emblem -maybe someone can verify.

EDIT: On a closer look, it does appear to have been chromed plastic originally. The little square still has a brushed chrome look to it.

I think I know what it is!

You are correct, that is the factory emblem on top of that valve cover. What happened was, that heat damaged the emblem by peeling the "chrome" layer over the plastic, hence now it is showing just the plastic portion of the lettering.
