That's a great looking car. The paint looks pristine too. priced for a collector.

in all honesty, to me the "w202 holy grail" is a factory original C55 estate/wagon. Only 7 or 8 exist... Only they should ask this kind of money, and only when they're original.

amg has made a few one offs. i dont really consider those "rare" but rather abnormalities. and i do mean abnormalities in the best way possible! amg has also created special editions with limited runs. i believe there are a handful of sls amg special editions that were made to the tune of 5 cars each.
but im really not sure there is any other amg model available for order (not a limited production run) that was produced less than the S202 C55.

Honestly it could go either way I suppose. If I'm correct AMG released the number at 7. But also if I'm correct, and I can't promise I am, AMG didn't say 7 produced but rather 7 delivered.
I'd pay 21k if I was a collector. Don't think that price is off at all, probably low if anything. Of course condition would play a big part.

Just to follow up and not to be a PITA. These units were available for order, BUT you had to buy your C43 and AMG would take over after that. So while 7 delivered, it's unlikely that someone would buy a C43, AMG take over and the unit not subsequently delivered. Just my observation.

An S202 is not a W202. And rare or not, I have never liked the looks of the s202. C class wagons don't do anything for me, think they're stupid. E class wagons different story.

This thread took a severe left turn. It went from me doing a courtesy of advertising a rare, last-year-C43, to arguing and bickering about semantics and things.
