This is the #1 issue for owners of the AMG S55. To prevent this becoming a potential issue in the future, I replaced both front hydrolic struts last week. (BRAND NEW) You will not have any ABC issues with this car.

This is the #2 issue for owners of the AMG S55 or the W220 in general. To prevent this becoming a potential issue in the future, I replaced the entire EIS System and both keys. (BRAND NEW) You will never have to worry about the key not turning because its chilly outside

There was a very tiny leak in the radiator, so instead of repairing it, which we all know will just come back again in a year or two, I had the whole unit replaced brand new preventively

With a $140,000+ price tag you get everything that you would dream of in a luxury car. With the addition of hydrolic suspension, you also get a hydrolic trunk. The hydrolic trunk is the #2 complaint for AMG owners in regards to costly repairs second to the ABC System. You will not have to worry about this becoming a headache for you.

Ive tried many tires, and these are the best. The only ones coming close, are the new Continental Extreme Contact Sport which were just released a few months ago. Fronts are Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Since the back tires wear quicker, I installed Michelin Sport PS2's on the rear for longevity. Any owner of this vehicle will tell you the same.

This car is ready to go. I have been enjoying her every day. The only thing I havent done with this car is to turn off the SRS Light which is on due to the B48 child sensor. (Had the code pulled from Mercedes Beverly Hills) Takes 1.5 hours to remove the rear seat to get to the sensor and complete the job, so I have not done it yet. A local shop quoted me $115, but I was planning on doing it myself when I have time.

I love the 2002 S55 also! I know it is not supercharged, but it is one hell of a car!
