Looking for an E63 wagon :)
Welcome fellow members. I am looking for an E63 wagon 07 or 08 under 80k miles preferably. Ideally with replaced headbolts and if not, than priced accordingly. I will pay fair amount for the right car. Hopefully some will come up! I anyone would see something interesting please chime in! I've been late on the grey wagon here sold for 33k and a black one in Georgia with 55k miles. Like in life they go quick!!!

I would set up notification rules at cars.com, autotrader.com, a global CL search and of course, keep an eye out at https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-...long-shot.html which is probably your best bet. Good luck! It took me almost a year to find the one I wanted.

thanks !!
it’s going to take a lot of persistence and patience to get this price down to the fair market value level. Those guys seem to be daydreaming I’ll be calling them up today. Let’s see what happens

At the price they're asking you probably need to just keep searching. I don't see them coming down $10K to $12K.

If this would be 2009 than I’d consider high 30s for it. But being 2007 I don’t think that it is worth more than 35K. Recently one owner car with 52k miles was sold in Georgia for 35k. This thing is way overpriced. It’s a great car. Not an exotic though. Even though the numbers sold in us are very low it will not get such a high appraisal. At the end of the day it’s a 10 years old E63.

You will find some valuable information about wagons being sold. Particularly there is something about that wagon at Kelly i remember someone talking about it.
Some people ask crazy prices. What to expect
e55 - around 80k to be around $26
E63 - around 80k to be around $29
cheapest E63 I found was an 07 with 187k for $14k
Based off what I was searching a few months ago.

Went through the last 20 pages of that post. I expect to pay 33-35k for the right car. The one in PA for 41k is a 6! owner car. It will surely find iits next one but it will be hard at that price point. Anyways I’ll keep looking for the right wagon! It will probably take a while but I am sure it will be worth it!

I am already in contact with that seller. Still trying to figure out if I will or will not be charged gas guzzler tax on reimported vehicle. Thanks a lot for the link!

A broker or vehicle transport company is probably your best bet to find an answer as they do it daily rather than trying to get a hold of and ask customs. I was told no gas tax and no duties on re-imported vehicles as it was already paid once before.

So I got the wagon on Sunday. Ive ordered a couple of parts there were either broken or missing. Drove it back from Denver CO to Chicago area on Sunday. It’s an 09 with 55k miles. It drives beautifully great interior quality no squeaking or funny noises. No surprises on the way back. Great seats. I am very happy with a purchase. Car seems to be in tip-top mechanical condition. I will have it detailed on Friday. Than I’ll try to take a little better photos. Enjoy!

2008 E63 AMG Wagon
2nd on the beauty of the car. I bought a black on black 08 E63 wagon about a month ago. Do you mind if I ask what you paid and whether head bolts were a factor in your purchase or negotiation? Congrats!

I have paid $32.900 plus taxes for it. Honestly they wouldn’t want to negotiate at all. I’ve figured it’s a very good price for it being 2009. It’s the rarest of them all. I don’t remember exact numbers but I think that there was less than 30 imported to the states that year. As for head bolts I’ve had Mercedes Benz dealership in Denver to do some pressure tests to make sure it’s fine for now. I have figured they will not go bad overnight So for now I am hoping for the best and I plan on replacing them after Christmas. The car will be parked in the garage during winter months.
