I have tried to include everything, I may have missed some things however the car is the real deal. It has the original Nokia phone holder but this is irrelevant due to the head unit replacement to the Pioneer with bluetooth meaning it works with modern phones through Bluetooth.
Ownership History
There are 2 former keepers since 2001. I acquired the vehicle on November 2014 making me the 3rd owner. The car has been fully looked after and appreciated.
The car has been garaged under a STORMSHIELD + OUTDOOR COVER that cost £479.00 which includes 5 layers for breathability and a non-scratch material. I am including this bespoke fitting car cover in the sale of the car.
Condition of Bodywork
The car is in excellent condition, there is no visible signs of rust in the common places which plague models of this era as Mercedes didn't galvanize them, however saying that there may be some rust under the wheel arches I haven't checked, I will take more detailed photos next week.
The car was always kept under a specialist 5-layer breathable microfibre cover in the garage that I will include in the sale. There are no dents or scratches on the car itself, however take into consideration the age it isn't brand new but most likely the best out there.
Service History
Last Service Record - 04/04/2017
The last service was carried out on the 04/04/2017 by an independent specialist, a lot of non-standard service items were included to improve the longevity of the vehicle regardless of cost. As you can see items such as ignition leads, coils, battery, intercooler pump were replaced as a precaution as these are the only common faults on this model. All 4 tires were replaced too with Continental SuperSports (the only ones I accept on my AMGs) .
This was fully serviced by Mercedes Benz (with receipts) up to 2014 of which the car was then taken to Spain (and serviced by the famous English Mobile Mechanic - as seen on TV) then later returned to the UK and serviced by local specialists.
If you are familiar or a member of Mercedes Benz World or MB World Forums you are aware the two common failures on this model are the intercooler pump, and the radiator failing, I made sure I replaced both of these as the car came into the 80k+ mileage as a preventive maintenance.
