2006 E55 AMG, 112k miles, white/black
I bought the car about 2 months ago and it's a fun car, but not the right car for me to daily drive to DC. I'm dealing with too many potholes, getting in and out of my work garage is tough b/c of how low it is, and I prefer to have all the modern amenities. The car has the following mods:
-Eurocharged 77mm supercharger pulley
-Eurocharged short headers (I think these are also called mid-length headers)
-Eurocharged heat exchanger
-Bosch intercooler pump
-Eurocharged ECU/TCU tune
-Eurocharged belt wrap kit
-Eurocharged aluminum tensioner
-Straight pipe with no cats
-E63 front end conversion (highly sought after conversion is done!)
-KW coilovers (so you won't have air suspension issues)
-19 inch Sport Edition ST6 wheels in Hankook Ventus V12 tires
Here are some of the maintenance items:
-Oil changes done regularly every 3,000 miles
-The tires were brand new with the wheels bought in April 2017. They have less than 3k miles on them
-The brakes were done last in May 2016, plenty of life left
-NGK LFR7AIX spark plugs in Nov 2016
-Serpentine tensioner in Nov 2016
-Crankshaft position sensor in July 2017
-Upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, lateral arms and bushings, and lower control arms for front only done April 2016
-Motor mounts and trans mount in April 2016
-Battery replaced in April/May 2016 timeframe
-Shock absorber mounts and rear control arms in Aug 2016
The previous owner spent a lot of time and money into the car. I have over $10,000 in receipts for mods/maintenance. The fuel system is stock, he chose not to do the fuel pump recall but it is still covered and can be done for you if you choose to. The injectors and throttle body are stock. The guy that owned the car before me had a Eurocharged vendor and AMG enthusiast do all the work. I recently did a paint correction on the car myself which I spent way too much time doing. It was washed, clay barred, polished, and then sealed. The paint looks and feels amazing. It's not perfect by any means, but very good. The car has some chips on the front hood mostly, I think you could fix a lot of these on the cheap with Dr. Color Chip. The rear bumper has 1 scuff when someone must have tapped the car in a parking lot. The car also has a ding above the driver's door. The car is 11+ years old so expect some wear/tear, but it's pretty damn clean overall. Take a look at the pics, I tried to capture everything as honestly as I could. I believe in being up front when selling a car to someone. The OEM floor mats were in rough shape and I could not find any good mats. So I had a company in Europe custom make a set of mats for me, and they look gorgeous, but I had to order 5 sets (I'll make a separate post for those cause I do need to unload the rest).
High-res photos are here:
The car had a custom tune when I bought it and it put down 479whp on that tune. However, I couldn't pass VA emissions b/c all the monitors were turned off. I had to go back to the more conservative, basic Eurocharged tune. It puts out a bit less power, but it has not seen the dyno with the current tune; but I can tell you the car is still damn quick. The car passed VA emissions.
The car is well sorted and maintained. No check engine lights, no accidents, and no bodywork. The car has a clean carfax. I'm asking $17,500 for the car. The price is slightly negotiable. I will also include a set of stock wheels/tires if you come close to my asking price. We can discuss more if you don't want them. My car is a tougher to find white color, it has the E63 front conversion (~$1,400), and has KW coilovers ($2,400) so you don't need to worry about the air suspension issue, so please consider why it is priced at $17,500 obo. I'm located in Fairfax, VA. The best way to contact me is via email (azrashid @ gmail.com) since I do not check the forum daily. Thanks for looking.
