what are the lines... what classifies as new england and what is mid atlantic? Where does Jersey go? I would say NY and North go into New England, NJ and south go to mid atlantic?

I don't mean to criticize, but as was said above, the breakouts are pretty badly done.
I would not put NYS or New Jersey into Mid-Alantic, for example. So to me, the regions represent about 25% of the actual country.
And I'm sure the citizens of the country of California will not be amused.
